Alas-Co General Construction is an Anchorage based corporation. We specialize in Thermal & Acoustical Insulation & Vapor Barrier Systems Installation and Consulting.
   
Alas-Co General Construction Inc. began as a partnership in 1985 and incorporated as our company grew. We are long time Alaskans with a combined total of over 40 years of experience in the insulation and vapor retarder related sections of the building trade since 1975.
   
Alas-Co has earned a servicing reputation of expedience by assimilating a team of the most experienced installers, estimators, and supervisors ever brought together in the State of Alaska.  This, combined with the latest in insulation equipment, saves our customers time and money.  Alas-Co bids and performs on large as well as small retrofit jobs.
   
Alas-Co subscribes to many building organizations including AGC of Alaska, Anchorage Builders Association, Alaska Craftsman Home Program, and the Better Business Bureau. We currently have AGC Safety and Haz Comm programs, with monthly safety meetings. We are also educating our employees in the Alaska Craftsman Home Program seminars to promote a better understanding of thermal performance with regards to the insulation systems we install.  We also have an ongoing apprenticeship program, to bring a more qualified installer to the marketplace in the tradition of quality being our top priority.
   
Alas-Co is always seeking new and innovative insulating products and techniques such as Monoglass Spray on Fiber, new cost effective vapor retarders, and our latest step into the Urethane and Icynene Foam and coating market to keep our customers on the leading edge of the technology available to them today.
